Sins Of Style

Philip Botha

Once an infamous graffiti writer from Durban, Philip later found tattooing as the vehicle for his creativity. He draws his influences from early 1900-1940s British and American tattoo imagery, as well as from old time advertising, religious iconography, folk art and silent-era cartoons. He’s an avid flash painter who collects antiques of various themes. On his off days, you’re bound to find him trawling the local flea markets, junk shops and car boot sales.
